The book "A Wonder Book for Girls & Boys" by Nathaniel Hawthorne.  No. 146 of the limited Edition De Luxe of 250 copies published in 1893 in Boston by Houghton Mifflin & Company.  With 60 designs by renowned illustrator Walter Crane, including 19 full page color plates. Cream-colored boards with gilt titles and embossed design; top edge gilt; decorated endpapers. Condition Some soiling of the light-colored boards, some small tears at the head of the spine, foxing to interior pages, else very good.
