Copy 955 of 1000. - In the edition note »[...] Signed Copies for Great Britain, Ireland and Colonnies« signed by the artist. - On handmade paper. - The fairytale story »Undine«, first published in 1811, is one of Fouqué's best-known texts; in 1816 he wrote a libretto version, which his friend E. T. A. Hoffmann set to music.15 plates. - Closing tape missing, minimally stained. - Title with ownership notice.
