Spine in black leather with sgilt lettering. Gilt edges. Gilt inner dentelles. Title-page in red/black. II,(4),XCV pp. + 1 pp. listing "Illuminated Works by H. Noel Humphreys". Black letters with headings printed in read. With 4 full-page and 2 in the text of fine chromolithograped illustration. Some textleaves framed with wood-engravings. Clean and fine. First printing of Humphrey's finest production, only printed in 1000 copies, but smaller number with this fabulous binding.
