There are a few spots of rubbing and scratching here and there, slight wear to the head and foot of the spine, but all in all, this is a very well preserved copy and is the best of the three gilt cloth binding set we have on offer. Internally, the hinges and internal joints are just starting to show cracking; there are very occasional slight traces of foxing in places, but the contents are sharp and clean throughout. v good copy
