Owen Jones: The Form of Solemnization of Matrimony, Illuminated by Owen Jones, 24 leaves, bound in gilt decorated kidskin with contemporary morocco slip case, 1849, 6" x 4" Externally the boards are in good condition, internally the leaves are bright and clear of foxing but the gutta percher is starting to perish to leaves are loose. A really beautiful copy though of a rare and much sort after production by the master illuminator of his time.
