Peter Pan In Kensington Gardens by J.M. Barrie, illustrated by Arthur Rackham, first Edition, bound by Zaehnsdorf, published by Hodder and Stroughton London 1906 Octavo. Finely bound by the Zaehnsdorf Bindery in Green morocco, spine lettered and ruled in gilt with gilt tooling on front cover and turn-ins, green endpapers, book block and board edges gilt, original grey free endpapers, illustrating map of Kensington Gardens at front, bound in. Colour frontispiece and 49 colour plates tipped onto heavy grey paper, with captioned tissue guards, occasional woodcuts in the text, all by Arthur Rackham. Foxing to prelims and occasional margins, contents otherwise clean, illustrations bright. A near-fine copy, handsomely bound.
