A history of the production of this landmark private press book and its 87 illustrations by Burne-Jones. The author has reproduced a number of the preliminary sketches executed by Burne- Jones that are now in the Fitzwilliam Museum and other interesting items (total of 80 plates). The front flap of the jacket is loosely inserted, else it is completely missing. Spine lightly worn, else near fine. cloth-backed decorated paper-covered boards, clear printed dust jacket.
