It also inspired a series of well-known illustrations by the romantic artist William Blake, an English poet, painter, and print maker. Largely unrecognized during his lifetime, Blake is now considered a seminal figure in the history of the poetry and visual arts of the Romantic Age. CONDITION: Very good overall. The book has been rebacked and new end papers added. The binding is believed to be of the period. A few scuffs to the leather surface. Some light toning and foxing to the pages.
