The Grave, A Poem. Illustrated by twelve Etchings Executed by Louis Schiavonetti, from the Original Inventions of William Blake, 1808, [plates only], reissue, pub. R. Ackermann, 1813 [but actually 1870], engraved portrait plate of Blake by Louis Schiavonetti after T. Phillips, title and eleven plates by Schiavonetti after William Blake, some toning & fraying to margins, loosely contained in original cloth portfolio light staining plus ink mark at lower front board, ties missing , slim folio sold as a collection of plates. The plates are dated 1813, but this is the edition printed in 1870 by J.C. Hotten from the original plates. The usual format was as a bound small folio with text, but a few sets of the plates were issued as here on slightly larger paper without text in a portfolio.
